For sale today we have this beautiful Mustang coupe painted in stunning Viper Blue. The paint work was completed a little over 2 years ago and it was sprayed over all original Ford metal, except for the original hood (shown in the video) which was damaged and replaced with a fiberglass cowl-induction piece that has excellent fit and finish. This car has spent its entire life in the beautiful California climate, and as such, shows no signs of rust or rot common on vehicles of this vintage found in high humidity or road salt areas. There are also no signs of accident or abuse damage, check out the chassis pictures and see how clean it really is! The exterior of car has been treated to new windshield moldings front and rear. in addition, all lighting and enclosures are new. Also installed were a complete grill set with surrounds and new bumpers front and rear that complete the look. The paint sits very flat and has excellent shine as it has been color sanded and buffed out beautifully. The doors open via a newly installed electronic remote popper system that was installed professionally.
The interior has been redone with all new material except for the headliner and sail panels which are both in good condition. New custom Marina Blue vinyl was stitched to cover the original Mustang seats and they look great! The carpet matches the paint scheme as does the white dash cover. In addition, new Mustang floor mats are present in all for corners and a new Grant wheel was installed as well as all new door handles and window cranks. The interior as a whole is very vibrant and really fits the car well.
Mechanically speaking, This Mustang is powered by a 289 Ford and a C4 automatic transmission. The rear end is the original 8" The top end was redone on the engine and it was upgraded with rebuilt heads, aluminum intake manifold and Holley carburetor. Exhaust is handled by new Hedman headers exiting thru new dual pipes and mufflers that exit via chrome tips. The power steering system has been completely rebuilt with a new steering cylinder and box and the suspension system is all new as well. The car sits on new coil springs and leaf springs that hold 17" Cragar rims and nearly new Fuzion ZR1 tires. The car was set up with a 3-bolt negative wedge kit and it handles like it's on rails. A new fuel pump and sending unit was installed as well as new belts and hoses. The Mustang has had a wheel alignment and it tracks straight and runs on thru with ease.
