The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973.
It was initially introduced as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment.
Why This Car Is Special
A lot of Mustangs may have V8's, but the 1966 Ford Mustang we have at Skyway Classics sure purrs down the road passing gas station after gas station with its 6-cylinder engine. You can't go wrong with a classic Mustang like this and economy too.
Our Mustang has a performance rebuilt 200 Cubic Inch engine pulling over 120 horses with headers, chrome air cleaner, and a clean engine compartment. It also has an improved ignition system, inline fuel filter, performance radiator system, and a complete Wildwood Disc Brake conversion.
It has a nice black bucket seat interior with black carpet and floor mats, seat belts, a chrome console with the automatic transmission shifter, a great dash with all factory gauges, wrapped steering wheel, stereo system, and good headliner.
The 1966 has been refinished in shiny red paint with good chrome trim, bumpers, luggage rack, Mustang hood emblem, and has a great grill and body lines. The Stang rides on performance tires and mag wheels and sounds great with the headers and dual exhaust too.
If you want a nice Mustang and a quick efficient and safe driver, the 1966 Ford Mustang we have at Skyway Classics is the ride for you. See it at Skyway Classics?
