It is no surprise that owning a vintage 4x4 of any brand is not only a thrilling experience but can also be a very expensive endeavor depending on the quality and originality that you desire. Vintage Toyota FJ's range in prices from $12k-250k based on what you want and can afford. There is becoming fewer and fewer of these that good shells/bones to begin the restoration, and those continue to climb in value each year.
We are very excited to bring to the market this remarkable 1970 Toyota FJ43. This piece of art was fully restored top to bottom by Vintage Land Company that has set a very high standard on their restorations. We have sold many of the FJ's in all different variations, but this particular one is hands down the sweetest and most factory correct FJ that we have ever seen and that may be on the market. It is an authentic FJ43 chassis, engine, and drivetrain that has not been modified, tweaked, or resto-moded in any way. These components were, however, completely rebuilt and set up the way this truck was new and even better. Their quote, “At Vintage Land we dedicate ourselves to the full artistic and mechanical restoration of Toyota FJ 40 and FJ 43 model four-wheel drives made between the years 1960 and 1984. As motoring enthusiasts, we understand the nostalgia for antique vehicles restored to their original glory, and every one of our designers, engineers, mechanics, and painters involved in all stages of the restoration process obsess over the even the most minute details. These vehicles carry the legacy of their era, and we want everyone to be able to relive those times each and every time they drive one of these legendary machines.”
This is a turnkey of a vintage vehicle that we have seen in many years. Every bolt, seal, screw, and part is either brand new or restored/rebuilt. The fit and finish of the car are very remarkable, and the stunning Cygnus White paint along with the Uran Red seats and canvas top make this a head-turner in every aspect. Getting into the vehicle, you can feel the quality, and a simple turn of the key and this FJ comes alive, and all gauges and lights function properly as you would expect with over $100k invested in just the restoration. The vehicle comes with tool roll, jack, restoration book, brochure, and a desire to go anywhere you desire on the ranch or to the red carpet.
