Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1976 International Harvester Scout II Traveler. A long-wheelbase version of the popular Scout II, the Traveler has tons of extra cargo space behind the rear seat -- perfect for kids, pets, gear, etc. And like the regular Scout II, the hard top is removable. Finished in matte white with a matte black rally stripe, it's a sharp truck that never fails to turn heads. Custom GRC front and rear bumpers, an SS2 grille and Mickey Thompson 17-inch Deegans wearing Nitto 33x12.50 mud grapplers complete the look. This Scout has a great stance and off-road bona fides thanks to the wheel and tire package plus a four-inch Rough Country lift.
Interior shows well with new door panels and seat upholstery. Interior floors have been rhino-lined for all-weather durability and easy cleaning. Modern AM/FM/CD stereo with USB, aux input and bluetooth (although the doors have not been cut, so the only speaker is in the original spot behind the dash). All gauges are working. All seals and weatherstripping were replaced when the truck was painted.
Under the hood is a 304 cubic inch V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Recent engine reseal, new belts and hoses, full tune-up, new Holley 2300 carburetor, new battery and new starter. Other recent service includes a new aluminum radiator, new exhaust (with dual flowmasters) and a complete brake job. Nicely detailed engine compartment and undercarriage with no known rust issues.
