One of only 170 Super Cobra Jet equipped 1969 Shelby GT500s. Sold new at Marv Tonkin Ford Sales in Portland, Oregon on 8/20/69. 1969 Shelby #1076 has been treated to a recent restoration in it's factory Royal Maroon to MCA Concours Driven specifications and as allowed by MCA rules has had factory options added including Air Conditioning, Sports Slats (Louvers) and Cruise Control. Although no SCJ was ever built from the factory with AC, this restoration provides both performance and comfort, or as the 1969 Shelby literature put it, "Fire and Refinement." The motor has been verified as having correct Super Cobra Jet internals. The paint shows well and would be graded 8.5/10. The undercarriage has been undercoated for road duty as is allowed in MCA Driven classes. #1076 is documented with a Deluxe Marti Report, SAAC Registry listing, original owners manual, copy of Shelby shipping invoice and pre-delivery paperwork.
