1975 Hurst Olds, Original T Tops, Low Miles, Original Everything, Can You Dig It

The year is 1975. The groovy 70's were in full swing. Bell bottoms were all the rage, and you had everyone on the radio from The Doobie brothers, Captain & Tennile, and The Eagles just to name a few. Things were very "Far Out", and you were wondering if, "You could dig it." If you were an Oldsmobile fan then this is a car that you wanted.

Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this very original 1975 Hurst Olds. These cars were just cool in a lot of ways. They were available in White or Ebony Black like this one is. This is an original car so yes it is going to show some patina, but for us born in the early 70's, don't you have some patina on you by now as well. Everything is original on this car. That being said, the fit and finish are still in really great shape with this car. This was the first year for the Hurst Hatch T Tops being used and this car has the original ones that still have the logo on the glass. These are very hard to find so it is great that they are original.

so now that we have you going down memory lane with this car, go around and open that big driver door and slide around that swivel seat. That's right, for everyone to young to remember, there were a few cars that had seats that would swivel for getting in and out of the car easier. Plus it was just cool. Both sides of the bucket seats do it and they both work perfectly. Plus if it looks like you could remove the center of the seats it's because you can. The center section of the seats were reversible. Just one more cool thing about the 70's. As you will see in the pics there are no rips or tears in the dash, center console, seats, or headliner. This car is an absolute time capsule. You will not see it mounted but we do also have the original Hurst Olds tach that goes with this car. The door panels fit just like they did in 1975 and have never been replaced. There is also no rust in the door jams anywhere. This is a very clean car.

So now that you are good in comfortable in all of your 70's splendor, reach up and hit that key and listen to that 350 under the hood come to life. Now, as we all know, 1975 was not years for a ton of horsepower in any car. This 350 only has 180 HP, but they car like most of the 70's was about looking cool and being cool. This is the original motor, transmission, and rear end. One very cool thing is that this has what was known as the his and hers Hurst shifter. The reason for the name is that if she just wanted to put the car in drive she could, and if he wanted some fun he could slap the shifter over and manually shift the Turbo 350 transmission. Who said that an "auto stick" was a new idea right. so regardless if you just like to leave it in drive, or you want to shift and have fun, either him or her can have a ton of fun in this car. The miles that you see on the odometer are original to this car as well.
