Valve train upgrades includ Comp Cams Murtha Thumpr Hydrollic roller cam, 7/16 push rods and Competition Pro Magnum roller rockers. Edelbrock aluminum heads were ported to match the Edelbrock air gap intake to ensure the best breathing possible. A holly Pro Series 750 Carb sits on top of this beast and the fuel is delivered via a Holley high flow mechanical fuel pump. This 1970 Chevelle SS can run on 92 octane. A MSD Pro Billet distributor was installed as well as a 6AL ignition box provides all the proper spark. All of this exits out 2.25" ling tube headers into an X Pipe and going through Spin Tech mufllers. This motor out performs the original for sure putting out a whopping 602 HP at 6200 RPM's.
All of this power is shifted through a Tremec TKO 5 speed tranny with a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate and all is protected by a Lakewood scatter shield. All of this runs out to a Detroit Truetrac differential fitted with strange axles and 3:73 gears.
