This 1967 Shelby Cobra Classic Roadster LTD has an iconic color combo that makes you stop and stare (so of course, others will, too.) But as you dig deeper, you're going to see some terrific upgrades like the performance-built V8 and a design that allows for even larger people to be comfortable.
This Cobra gets the look right from the first impression. After all, white with blue stripes is a true American racing color theme - especially made famous by Shelby. And this one has a ton of terrific details. Some of them are for flair, like the metallic element in the blue stripes. Others eye candy is also about function, like the push bumpers or the big hood scoop feeing the V8 underneath. Under the hood is proper blue oval power with a tidy setup, including the iconic Cobra valve covers. This 351 cubic-inch V8 is a professional full performance build. It's a blueprinted motor fortified with TRW pistons, rods, and bearings. There are plenty more go-fast goodies, like a Comp Cams camshaft, Offenhauser Intake, stainless steel valves, high-performance distributor, and a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor on top. It makes a thunderous sound through the side pipes that will always be your favorite soundtrack. This mighty V8 is mated to a Richmond five-speed manual for ideal control, and this feeds a 3.73 limited-slip rear end. Add in front disc brakes, thick sway bars front & rear, and wide BF Goodrich T/A rubber, and you have a well-done high-performance package.
