This 1984 Chevrolet K20 Scottsdale is a very clean, original, unmolested truck that spent most its life in Oregon before going to Idaho for a few years. In 2017 a person in Michigan purchased it for a fair weather cruiser and we now purchased it. This is a very unique truck that has mostly original paint with some nice Patina. This truck was obviously well cared for and the mileage is believed to be original based on the condition. This truck was sold new at Bob Hanigan Chevy in Idaho. The body on this truck is amazing and appears to have most of its original paint with the exception of the driver side front fender which looks to have been painted long ago. The carfax is clean so it is hard to say why it was painted. The truck is very straight and the underside is very clean and in excellent condition as well. There are no rust issues with this truck. The Factory colors are Desert Sand and Doeskin.
The interior is also in great condition. It has a new Seat Cover and New Dash Cover, but the rest appears original. The floor mat appears to be original with no holes. Just a good ol' clean and original interior. All of the lights, gauges, wipers, horn are working. Even the original radio works. AC needs to be serviced.
Mechanically this truck is rock solid. It has the 6.2L Diesel Engine and it starts and runs excellent! The transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic and it is mated to the NP208 Transfer Case. The last owner spent around $5000 the last couple of years doing maintenance like ball joints, new steering bushings, complete front brake job, transmission service, new oil cooler lines, new trans cooler lines, new radiator, new wiper motor, belts, hoses, etc. This truck starts,, runs, and drives great and with the recent work done to it should be ready for someone to enjoy.
