Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1975 Ford Bronco Sport, a highly-optioned and very original example. Repainted once in correct "Code W" Medium Green Glow Metallic to a good driver standard. Original glass, bumpers and trim and we believe all body panels to be original, as well. Even the paint on the grille is original (and it's showing some light, but not objectionable, patina). Inner fenders, door posts, door bottoms and rockers are solid; the forward edges of the floor pans are starting to go (this is the only known rust issue on the truck). Older Michelins on factory wheels have plenty of tread and are holding air, but are starting to develop some sidewall cracks.
The seats have been recovered but many of the interior components are original, including the door panels, steering wheel, vinyl floor covering, sun visors and dash pad (which has held up remarkably well). The gun racks were certainly a period addition. All gauges are lights are working. The only deviation from stock is a four-point roll cage and an AM/FM/CD stereo mounted in the dash (with a speaker pod below, so nothing else has been cut up). A older but serviceable full soft top in white is included with the sale.
We believe that the current enthusiast owner of nearly a decade is the third owner; it was represented to him as at the time of his purchase in 2010 as an original-mileage truck that lived most of its life on a farm in South Georgia. It certainly presents as an original and unmolested survivor (and in a fantastic Early Bronco color). Under the hood is a 302 cubic inch V8 with the original air cleaner and valve cover decals intact. This is a well-optioned truck with automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes.
This Early Bronco is a truck that you can enjoy as is if you're looking for an original survivor/driver at an attractive price point. Or given how solid the bones are, it's a great candidate for a rolling restoration if you want to take it to the next level.
