1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 (#'s!) Air Conditioning Red/Black
1972 was the last year for the Big Block, and this one has Air Conditioning! The original engine has been rebuilt and runs strong. The options include Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, and Factory Air Conditioning. Early life was spent in the South, documents include the previous Georgia registration. Our seller purchased this El Camino, had it shipped to his home in Michigan and added it to his multiple car collection. Recent receipts include work for maintenance to make sure the new owner will be able to "turn the key and enjoy" it the day he takes it home. The paint was refinished many years ago and has blemishes from age and limited use. The "bed" will need work to be perfect. The interior appears "as original" throughout and has a radio upgrade. Correction to the VIN: The 5th digit in the VIN is a "U" (not a "K"). This is the correct designation for the "402" Cubic Inch Displacement (also commonly referred to as the "396"). As stated above, it is the "matching number" engine. Also, not mentioned, is that it does have the factory Gauge Package with the in-dash tachometer.
