Porsche broke the mold after completing the last 993's out of Germany and many wish they never did! From 95-98 Porsche built this iconic 993 Porsche with a style and shape like nothing else and it will never be duplicated. There is a reason why these cars do not depreciate and are being plucked for private collections across the globe. The accented rear fenders that gave a mean and aggressive stance, along with an inspiring sound that could only be duplicated by an air-cooled engine that was as raw as the day the first 911's rolled out of the factory. You can argue the newer versions of the 911 are faster, more comfortable, more reliable, and have even better electronics, however, you will never be able to convince the Porschephile that any of them compare as a package like the 993.
