This 1935 Ford Cabriolet is all about details. At first glance, it's an awesomely slick fiberglass body with an awesome custom two-tone. Then you dig a little deeper, you'll see all the careful additions and upgrades that went into the build. This includes a modern fuel-injected V8, overdrive transmission, performance suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, luxury interior, and all the other pieces that really impress on this fresh build.
The '35 Ford is a true icon, and this one does everything right. Shaved door handles, two-piece windshield on a chopped frame, and a bright waterfall grille give it a classic hot rod look. But more than just vintage, there's a freshness to this one. There's less than 1,200 miles on the build, and it's a quality Downs body professionally built by Keith Bright. The two-tone paint is all about making people green with envy. It starts with a modern Sage Green Metallic. And while the top color is called Crabby Apple, it will actually fill you with joy every time you see the deep metallic luster radiate in the sunshine. Plus, the taut tan folding roof coordinates with these hues so well that this looks great with the top on or off. Even the details on this one are even a cut-above. The pinstripes and palms are done by Kendig-it Designs of TV's Bitchin' Rides fame. And have you noticed how the brake calipers are painted to match the upper green? This is a speedy custom build, and so the full fenders have an aggressive stance. They cover over the Billet Specialties alloys that highlight the 17/20 inch front/rear powerful stance.
The showmanship continues inside with a full custom interior by JS Interiors. This has a European-like feel with the Porsche-grade tan leather on the seats, Mercedes wool carpeting, and coco mats. And we know you love the details like the textured two-tone ostrich leather inserts and the Wabbit genuine burlwood on the doors, dash, and around the steering wheel. The palm tree theme is even continued on the seatbacks and trunk. It's this kind of overall thoughtful presentation that everyone (including judges) love at car shows. But this convertible was built for much more than just to be shown off. You have the best in modern conveniences like a power driver's seat, power windows, tilt steering column, and provisions for a modern AM/FM/CD stereo. Plus, the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning means you always get to feel as cool as you look with the top down.
When you open the hood, you'll discover one of the tidiest engine bays around. The custom painted two-tone is a thoughtful touch, but what we all really love seeing is the modern Corvette power in this custom machine. The 5.7-liter fuel-injected LS1 V8 is an instant sign that this one knows how to move with authority. There's a terrific set of S&P headers that add even more power while giving the dual exhaust a sweet sound. Plus, you've got all the right supporting components, like a BeCool aluminum radiator w/electric fan and a 4L60E four-speed transmission that was specifically developed to give LS motors both powerful kick-downs and comfortable overdrive cruising. The undercarriage photos reveal more of how fresh the build is, and we know you'll love the strength of the silver painted FatMan chassis. And while you're looking there, don't forget to spot more upgrades like the tubular A-arm front suspension, triangulated four-link rear, Carrera adjustable coilovers, rack & pinion steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. Oh yes, this is the ultimate package for both show AND go!
This is the amazing build where they thought of everything. So the only thing missing is you. Call today!!!
