The John Deere Model H was introduced in 1938 and was built until 1947. It has a 12 hp John Deere 2-cylinder kerosene engine. This is an example of the standard model H, which came with the dual front wheels. Additional upgrades were the one-wheeled option, high clearance version, and the wide high clearance. This particular model was one of the last production years before an updated Model G was introduced. The Model G was notable for its electric start and lights which came standard.
