The Trivette is a very rare factory-built motorcycle that was developed because of the oil embargo of the late 70's. Only 26 of these motorcycles were built. They met all state and federal motorcycle standards and were capable of over 100 mph. While being fully enclosed and getting 65 mpg on the highway they provided the best of both the automobile and motorcycle worlds. The chassis and bodies were made from scratch but the mechanics were all Fiat. The company started by ten investors who put forth $1000 each.
