The Mazda RX-7 received a styling update for 1986. Power came from the naturally aspirated fuel injected Wankel rotary engine which featured 80 cubic-inch displacement size and was rated at nearly 150 horsepower with a five-speed manual gearbox. These also were equipped with the Dynamic Tracking Suspension system which was fully independent, rack-and-pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes
Additional features in this Sporty Package was an aerodynamic front air deflector, rocker-panel skirts, highback reclining bucket seats, electric sunroof, tilt wheel, power windows, power door locks, and a sport-tuned suspension.
This example has traveled only 47,000 miles since new and the original owner cared for this RX-7 for thirty years until recently parting with it. All of the service is up to date and the car comes with the original wheels along with new 15” BBS wheels and Infinity Primus tires. Recent service work and upgrades also include ISC Coilover Suspension system, Racing Beat stainless exhaust system (cat back), K&N performance air intake system, Powerstop Evolution cross-drilled and slotted rotors with carbon fiber ceramic pads, Pioneer stereo and speaker, battery, fluids, filters and drive belts.
