GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1977 Volkswagen Beetle for your consideration. The Volkswagen Beetle was powered by an efficient 1600cc four-cylinder engine. The example offered here starts right up and runs great. Mated to the 1600cc engine is a four-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly.
Finished in white this beetle has a grey soft top that pair together for a clean look. When the top is down it can be covered by the included convertible top bag that is white. Complementing the exterior is a white leather interior that is in good condition. Both the floor and dashboard are black and make for a crisp contrast with the rest of the car.
Mechanically this car is in great condition and recently had service done at Lehman's Auto in Rockford Michigan. The throw-out bearing was replaced, along with the clutch and tie rods. Driving this Bug is truly a pleasure as there is nothing else quite like cruising along in a classic Beetle.
The beloved Beetle convertible has endured the test of time and millions of these have been produced over the past 60+ years. Peoples Car, Love Bug, Herbie, Slug Bug, Type 1, and many other names have been used to describe or refer to this iconic model throughout the world. The VW Beetle has been a recognizable car no matter where you are and what year the car is, it is always very easy to notice.
