1960 Austin-Healey 3000
The “Big Healey” as it is also known was a highly successful car which won many European rallies in its class and is still raced in competition by enthusiasts today. The BT7 MK1 Roadster is a British sports car produced from 1959-1967 with coachwork by Jensen Motors. This meticulously restored example is finished in the highly desirable and stunning Austin Primrose color (IC-261) and is fitted with black leather upholstery with a black soft top, side curtains and tonneau cover. This 2+2 Roadster features the 3-litre, six-cylinder engine with overhead valves and pushrods, 124bhp with a top speed of 115 mph. The gearbox is a 4-speed manual and this one also features the coveted overdrive system in 3rd and 4th. Additional features are the front disc brakes, telescopic column, heater and wire wheels. The suspension is a wishbone style with independent coil springs and the rear is a live axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs.
