In 1953, the Ford F-series was treated to all new styling and updated mechanicals. New and modern engines were offered and for the first time, a dome light, arm rest, sun visor, automatic transmission, and radio were on the option sheets. In 1956, the F series received a unique cab design that was offered for just a single year, making them rare and desirable.
