GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1975 Land Rover Defender for your consideration. Finished in a Dark Green with a Tan ragtop and a Black vinyl interior. Under the hood rests a 2.4L inline 4 cylinder motor with a 4-speed manual transmission. The Series-III is the most desired series of the Defenders. This Defender has the original engine in it and was rebuilt, along with a complete restoration with no additional sheet metal. This is a gorgeous car all around and was taken care of very well. It starts right up, drives and shifts with ease. For more information on the 1975 Land Rover please contact us today.
The Series-III had the same body and engine options as the preceding IIa, including station wagons and the 1 Ton versions. Little changed cosmetically from the IIA to the series III. There were 440,000 of the Series-III built from 1971 to 1985. The headlights were moved to the wings on late production IIA models from 1968/9 onward and remained in this position for the series III. The traditional metal grille featured on the series I, II and IIA, was replaced with a plastic one for the series-III model.
