GRINCH GOLF CART
This is a Hero Who car, driven by a citizen of Whoville in the hit movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and is visible in scenes in the village square.
Ron Howard directed Jim Carrey as the Grinch in this film realization of the beloved Dr. Seuss classic. Imaginative sets, props, and vehicles adorn Whoville as Christmas approaches. But in a cave high atop Mount Crumpit lurks the Grinch, miserable and alone, but for his poor little dog Max. He finally hits on a plan and determines to put a stop to this unbearably happy holiday, once and for all.
The cars themselves, inspired by Model T Fords and built on golf cart chassis, were fully functional for the movie. Much like when building real concept cars, original models were first carved from clay before being sculpted out of Styrofoam. All designs used in the film follow the world as Seuss saw and drew it, and all props are meant to be pre-1957, the year the book was published.
