GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this unique custom 1957 Dodge pickup for your consideration. A labor of love, this pickup has been extensively modified over the last twelve years of ownership. Originally just a cab and half of a frame sitting in a field, this truck is now an excellent running and driving hot rod that is just inches away from becoming a show stopper. The truck has an updated frame that features a rebuilt 360cid V8 with less than 1,000 miles on it since the rebuild. It runs extremely well and is mated to a rebuilt 727 torqueflite automatic transmission. It features an Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock 600 carb, GM HEI distributor, 3.5in exhaust, four wheel disc brakes, brand new power steering and rack, new tie rods, and upper and lower ball joints. The front frame is from a Ford Aerostar and the rear is from a Lincoln Mark 5. It features 3.08 rear gears as well as rear pickup box from a 2000 ranger.
The current owner has done a ton of work to the vehicle including all new wiring and tons of cool power features such as a power tilting hydraulic hood and power lifting tonneau cover. It also has power windows, and a tilt steering column. It also rides on new tires with 14in and 15in sizes front to rear.
A unique, one of a kind truck, this vehicle is fully customized and is ready to be given a fresh coat of paint or driven as is.
