Corvette

The 1977 Corvette did receive minor changes, but they were more about branding than styling or performance. “Sting Ray” was dropped, and a new crossed flags badge adorned the front of the hood between the headlights as well as on the fuel filler door.

Some models were released with the original orange-colored engine, but GM was now pushing out blue-colored engines. Instruments were redesigned for better clarity, and a new leather wrapped steering wheel was offered. Power steering became standard. A cassette player was now also offered, and the manual shifter grew an inch, but shifts were shorter.
