1968 Chevrolet

Impala

The 1968 Impala got a facelift, as well as an updated rear bumper that housed three "horseshoe" shaped taillights.

A new model was introduced, the Custom Coupe, which was a a two-door hardtop and featured the same roofline as the Caprice Coupe. It was a huge success and would be continued through 1976.

A new 307ci V8 replaced the 283ci as the standard V8.
