The 1967 Nova received only a minor touchup from the previous year. All Novas got a crosshatch pattern that filled the deck lid trim panel.
It did receive several safety-oriented upgrades like an energy-absorbing steering column and safety steering wheel, along with soft interior parts like armrests and sun visors, recessed instrument panel knobs, and front shoulder belt anchors.
The newly released Camaro stole some of the Nova's sales. Nova's sales dropped by more than a third.
The Nova SS got a new black-accented anodized aluminum grille, and SS wheel covers stolen from the Impala SS.
The Turbo-Fire 327 was now only available as the 275 hp version.
