Dart

The Dodge Dart debuted in 1960 as Dodge's entry level vehicle and was offered in three trim levels: the basic Seneca, mid-range Pioneer, and the premium Phoenix. Standard engine was a 225ci slant six, top-of-the-line engine choice was a 361ci V8.

Standard transmission was a 3-speed manual, and optional were TorqueFlite and PowerFlite autos.

The Dart was met with instant success, and as a result, Plymouth's sales were hurt. The Dart was even based on an old Plymouth platform.
